Hari Raya is around the corner but first it’s the holy month of Ramadan. The thing we love best about Ramadan is the way everyone comes together to break fast or buka puasa together at the end of the day.

In celebration of Ramadan, Restaurant Dubrovnik has put together some specials available for groups dining at the restaurant. Enjoy our authentic Croatian dishes like Lamb Samobor, Chicken Stroganoff and Riba Champignon (fish), served to share. Each set also comes with assorted home-made desserts, prepared daily in the restaurant.

We had such a fun time during Mother’s Day and Father’s Day these past 2 months that we’re extending our celebrations. If you are 50 years or older (or ‘warga emas’ as they say it here), we will give you a free drink or free dessert when dining in.

Fathers play such an important role in our lives. With that in mind, Dubrovnik Restaurant wishes to honour all fathers with special activities this coming Father’s Day on 20 June.

Father’s Day Dinner Set

Our head chef has prepared a special set menu for Father’s Day. Show dad how much you appreciate him with a special Croatian dining experience that he will remember. Here’s some of the items we’ll be serving in the set.

Starting next week, we will be posting questions about the restaurant and Father’s Day to our Facebook Page. Did you know that Pope Gelasius 1 was the person who officially declared 14 February  as St. Valentine’s Day back in the year 496? Yes, Valentine’s Day has been celebrated for centuries and we are going to continue the celebration this year at the restaurant.
